November

Ty's class went on a field trip in Pennsylvania to the Churchville Nature Center to learn about Lena Lenape. This was my first field trip I couldn't go to, but luckily my friend did and sent a pic of our boys-Xander and Ty! Ty is sooooo lucky to have Xander in his class. He changed schools b/c he wasn't happy in his old school and was put into Ty's class. So Ty finally has another church member in his school besides his brother!
All 3 kiddies fell asleep in our bed. Looks snuggly!
Eliza just loves ballet. And looking at herself in the mirrors...
One day Eliza was going potty and was laughing hysterically. I went in and she'd wrapped the TP around her neck like a scarf singing, "Frosty the Snowman." It was pretty great.
A few days after the hurricane we got snow. Really mother nature? Luckily we had power so we were toasty warm, but I felt such guilt for all of the people who were chilly w/out power and heat!

A group of girls got together to see the new Twilight movie. Whose title escapes me- see how into them I am? ha! It was as ridiculous as the others and I laughed and laughed. We had fun wearing our silly tees and goody bags!
Our stake was asked to do service for people affected by the storm. The first time or two was spent cutting down trees, cleaning sand out of a basement, and general cleanup of yards that were just littered by junk after the floods. Then we started working in houses removing walls and mold. I feel so badly for all of the families who have suffered. So many people lost everything!
In this photo there is a guy in the background who was grilling hot dogs and burgers for free for those serving and those who were displaced. It was so neat to see him giving so selflessly!! In this town there was also a bagpiper just walking around playing to cheer people up.
Manly men. Broken brooms from their manliness.
One Sunday I got up to do service and found my van shrink-wrapped w/ a turkey head on it. yes-a real head. You know who you are-and one day you will pay!!!
Another weekend serving! I think all together we went 5 different times. Such a good experience!
Thanksgiving was sort of quiet. It was just us so we kept the dinner really simple. Our turkey was divine. and I laugh at how the kids are dressed. Not a typical holiday! Chase in all camp, Ty in a football jersey and Eliza in her pajamas w/ a Cinderella dress over it! ha!

The boys loving the treehouse!

Phil's friends Dan and Mike came w/ their significant others and they had quiet the exciting game of football. The boys are still talking about it.

They live in the city and brought us  some black and white cookies from the most amazing bakery. YUM!!!!
Lucy and Eliza in their preschool shirts. Pretty cute!
