St. Patty's day came and went in a flash

I only know one person who cares about this holiday and that is Marylynn. So for you - Happy St. Patrick's Day! For the rest of us I think it's: make green food, have a school party perhaps and wear green or you'll get a pinch!

Tyler and Chase enjoyed a lovely breakfast of green oatmeal, green grapes and green milk. Today I helped w/ Tyler's school party, and I have to say every year this holiday is a let down. Oh, well. Tyler had fun in class at least!

yeah, i don't get it either. i don't think there is a drop of irish blood in me so who cares? green, schmeen. i didn't even think to try and make it fun for henry, he didn't even wear any green to school and came home with a schamrock sticker. it was only then that i remembered what day it was. i guess his teacher gave it to him so he wouldn't get pinched. but in this day and age someone would probably sue a fellow preschooler for sexual harassment if they were pinched. oi!

That breakfast sounds delicious - how come you hate St. Patricks day? You did sum it up quite well though, haha.

You did better than me. I completely forgot it was St. Patty's day until Josh pinched me in the car for not wearing green. Zach didn't even get green milk!

Oh, I don't hate it at all. I think it's fun to do the green thing, it's just not a big holiday I think ahead for and anticipate. It's one of those holidays that's fun w/ kids.

I made green-frosted cupcakes. And I wore green to work.

That was as good as it got, though.

Looks like you can add that you ate a green breakfast in a green kitchen! I'm with you though, I could care less. In Chicago they freakin' dye the entire river green, but somehow are unable to fill the crater-sized potholes in the roads. Hmmm....

Oh my goodness, I didn't realize that I was among so many people that forgot St.Patrick's Day (Amy and Amanda).
It's like our Christmas for us expect for the Santa in exchange of Leprechauns.

NĂ thuigim =means "I don't understand" in Celtic.

Did the leprechauns mess up your house? they got our house and the kids classrooms! Pesky little fellas!

FYI - having a green marker dot on your skin doesn't count apparently!

Only my Irish friends appreciate it. Every year Mike and Christy have us over for cornbeef and cabbage. It is painful for all, but it's tradition. I agree--weird day. Who is St. Patrick anyway? What is he suppose to protect, bless, or whatever . . .

We had green baked french toast, green orange julius and green eggs for dinner! Delicious!
