Phil and Tyler are out having some bonding time and I am home w/ Mr. Chase hanging out. I suddenly remembered I had something I was supposed to take care of so I was on the phone for about 20 minutes. Halfway through the call I realized it was really quiet-usually not a good sign w/ this kid. So I finished the call and walked all over the house calling for Chase. I coudln't find him and I was getting nervous. I checked his room one last time and he'd gotten his blankie and juice and had climbed up into his crib and put himself to bed. Are you kidding me?!?!? I am still giggling. He never ceases to amaze me!

Tyler's bedroom is done and now I need a nap
A mere 2 1/2 weeks later and I am done with fixing Tyler's room. It's taken forever to fix all the problems the previous owners made in trying to make this room cute. Oh the insanity of do it yourselfers! If you can't do it-DON'T DO IT!! I'm not perfect, but I take my time and at least TRY to do things right. So enjoy the extensive gallery of before and after pictures. Pretend you care b/c if you don't I may get in the fetal position and cry. Really. I'm not kidding. :)

Go Phillies!
Phil planned a really fun evening at the Phillies game in Philadelphia a few weeks ago. Tyler had a really fun time and enjoyed all the things Phil remembers loving as a kid. He got really into it and was cheering the Phillies like a madman. Phil even took him to a vendor to get icecream and Ty flipped out b/c he was missing the game. If you know Ty you'd realize the insanity of that b/c that kid like his sugar! Memories were made and they'll be going again soon!
Delinquent Post Part I
I realized what a slacker i've been in posting. I will put Chase's b-day party eventually and other events that have happened in the last month, I'm just not sure when.
For starters I'll post pics from the 5 mile walk for the March of Dimes. We had a really nice time and the kids held out really well. We had a double stroller so they didn't walk too much, but it was chilly out and they didn't whine too much! This was my first time doing a walk and it was fun to do. Kudos to the March of Dimes for the radio station, free food, free goodies, etc. It felt good to support a worthy cause, and moreso to teach our kids a valuable lesson in selflessness.
