Yesterday was going pretty crappy anyway, and then I went to the computer. And there it was. Heath Ledger had died. I know nobody probably cares who is reading this, but I do! He was awesome in The Patriot which is one movie Phil and I will actually watch together and both enjoy. Not to mention that Aussie accent and charming good looks! And I feel so bad for his family. I could have down w/out the whole Brokeback Mountain situation, but he was still an incredible actor.
So petty or not, I am bummed...for many reasons!
Here comes Debbie Downer! Wa wa.

I am very sad, too. I'll be Debbie Downer with you. We've talked about him on several occassions at work today. Weird, but true. Once question that several co-workers and I have, though, is...why are famous people always found naked? Almost everytime...dead and naked. Regardless...still a sad situation...I feel bad for his baby.
I wouldn't dare delete my post to correct a spelling error...I saw how much that disturbed you the other day. So, my correction is..."One question that..." instead of "Once question that..." Thank you and goodbye.

Uhhh...when I found out about this yesterday I almost called you but thought you might think I was a weirdo for being so shocked about his death! I really was like holy crap...Kennedy came in and I showed her and she just blinked at me. What is wrong with me that I take things like this so seriously? Anywho...I am very sad and I was actually wondering the same thing as Sara, "what is the naked laying on the bed situation with all the stars"? Maybe they just really like to be naked...eh?
Ok, I'm on board here- totally shocked by this- when it was breaking news Tuesday night- I nearly cried. I loved him in 10 things I hate about you (yes, teen movie) and a Knight's Tale- this is one that Joe will watch with me. So much potential and so young. I really think it was accidental. Really sad nonethe less. His poor litle Matilda.
I am right there with everyone. I was greatly saddened by the news. 10 Things is one of my favorites!
It's been years since I heard someone say "Debbie Downer"--that totally made me giggle. And I saw your hair today and you look great as always, Cyd.
