Family Hike

Phil was able to take a day off during the kids Spring Break so we could do a fun hike. We found out through friends that there is actually some good hiking here in New Jersey! Bald Pate Mountain is the highest point in Mercer County and once you hike to the top it's a really beautiful view of the Delaware River, NJ and PA. Here we are ready to start our hike.

No hike is complete without a walking stick. And apparently a UPS hat. :)

All throughout the hike are these huge rocks and boulders. Good for climbing.
I love the huge alligator tear on her face. She got hurt and looked so sweet afterwards.
 Kids love hiding places.
At the top there are picnic tables and Eliza liked chilling on them.
 My sweet, special hubby.
Hiking back down the trail. This was the favorite spot for all of us. Lots of climbing! We were so proud of the kids for doing this hike, keeping up and not complaining at all!
