Being stylish, Junk in the trunk, biking and such

I have so much to blog and say, and so little motivation to do it! I'm going through pics and realized I never blogged Chase's birthday party. And I'm hoping that w/ summer I'll actually have pictues of Tyler. What kind of mother am I?!?!? So for now enjoy these 2 little bugs on a bench.
Tyler melting during Field Day. His poor buddy Jaylen ended up almost passing out! But Ty's team won at tug-of-war so he was happy.
These 2 are the best of friends. During the day you'll find them dressing up together, reading and playing toys. Love it.

Here we are enjoying the bike trailer.

This my friends is what happens when you swim w/ a regular diaper. I'm only hoping my girl doesn't have a badonk-adonk like this when she's older!

And just another day of Chase changing his "accessories." Today you'll see he chose his green pirate gloves and INSIDE fireman boots. He made this choice on his own-these boots do not leave this house. And when we did go outside he quickly changed (very Mr. Rogers style) into his red moon boots (very Napoleon Dynamite style).

It's Official

My girl has brown eyes. We weren't sure if she was hazel or brown, but just today she was staring so intensely at me (that I thought perhaps she saw my soul) and her big eyes were just dark as chocolate. I have my very own "Brown Headed Kid." (my family nickname as a child)

Just because this picture makes me laugh

This is my sweet daughter passed out after an afternoon of wood floor shopping. I know this sleep. It's just hard and so refreshing. Don't you want to just kiss those lips?!!??!

Oh, just a Mother's Day Tea

Chase's preschool had a darling little Mother's Day tea - complete with tea and cake. It was a bit difficult explaining to a 4 year old that we couldn't drink the drink he'd made, but alas we had a lovely time. My little boy actually sang! hooray! (how cute is that smile)
I got flowers! He was so proud of them and took it all very seriously.

And Miss Eliza sat like a big girl in a chair. What is she-16 now!?!?

These moments are what make me love being a mom. My 3 kids are my life and I love them dearly!

The Jenny Lind beds are done!

Truthfully these pictures don't do them justice. I'm not tooting my own horn-I copied somebody's blog w/ the color idea. But these beds just turned out darling and they make me smile everytime I walk by the boys' room. Thank you lady for finding these in a barn and letting me buy them! I can tell they're old and they are solid. Which is good b/c Chase has a new hobby of jumping from one bed to the other!!In my head I imagine these as family heirlooms being passed from generation to generation. You reading this kids? YOU WILL KEEP THESE IN THE FAMILY OR I WILL HAUNT YOUR DREAMS! No pressure :)

Why didn't I get a freaking picture?!!??!

I was in New York City for the day yesterday with my girlfriends and I mentioned to them that I always run into somebody I know while we're there. So at about 10:30pm after we'd eaten we were in Times Square heading to a make-up store (Bare Escentuals baby) and I saw a girl that looked so familiar. I told my friends who only laughed and said whatever. So we get into the store and we're getting our make-up done and in walks this girl. I just couldn't place her face. I realized I didn't know her, but she was on tv. So I was thinking of all the shows I watched, and it hit me. It was Pavarti from Survivor! So my girlfriend asked if she was indeed from Survivor-and it was! So we had a conversation and she was really friendly and sweet. We said our goodbyes and it wasn't until today I realized that today she's one of the 5 that will win on Survivor live in NY. I haven't watched this season b/c I don't like the reunion style ones. She was probably wondering why I didn't address this! Der! This is my first celebrity der!!!

Imagine if you will...

You get off the bus and your little brother sucker-punches you in the stomach looking like this. B/c this is what happened. Chase did this to Ty the other day. He kept this tape on his face for about 30 mins (dang that was quiet!) b/c he wanted to walk to the bus stop and show Tyler. This kid never makes me stop laughing.
