LOBES

What do you get when you go to the mall in the evening with your kids? A strange question. That's what.

There were the regular run of the mill teens loitering about. A small group of overly tatooed and over-pierced guys were watching me and I thought, "that's strange. i'm really pregnant and these weirdies are checking me out."

One of them says, "excuse me. do you want to stick your finger through my hole?" (mind you he's had a pretty large gauge plug in his ear and so the hole was larger than a quarter and he's taken the plug out and he's yanking on it. I almost hurled.) I stared at him and said um, no thanks. And then I started to laugh hysterically. Then he asked Phil, do you want to stick your finger in my lobe? Phil of course said yes which was great b/c I was hoping to get this on my camera phone. The kid was a little surprised Phil said yes, Phil said actually he wasn't really that interested, we laughed again and then walked away.

Did I really used to be a teenager?

HE SPEAKS!!

I had to boast, that FINALLY at the ripe age of 2 1/2 years Chase is talking. He's been babbling since he was 1, but none of it was true words. We've had him evaluated by the state and he just barely didn't qualify for the program so the doctor told us to sit tight b/c although he wasn't speaking, he was following commands and seemed to understand us. So as of the last 2 weeks this kid is knocking our socks off. He said to me the other day, "what is happening mommy?" This coming from a kid who just a month ago still had no name or word for his brother.

So hooray for Chasey!! And this pic just makes me laugh b/c that's his "I'm too cool" face. I get this face much of the day already. sigh...

I am still in shock!

I will believe it when I see it! We are so excited and once I accept the fact that I'm not dreaming I'll be doing some serious shopping! Hooray for me!

Ty's birthday festivities

Spiderman (I mean Tyler) on his birthday morning. The entire day consisted of Spiderman.

Playing w/ his marble mania and chatting on the phone. I love multi-tasking.
The Superheros at their party. We did a combined party at our house and unfortunately it rained so w/ 10 kids we had to improvise and do some of the activities in our classy garage. We did attempt to decorate in their w/ streamers and balloons. Do they look like they care?!?!
Oooohing and Aweing the cake. Shortly thereafter a villian stole the cake and they spent the next hour doing missions to try and find it.
Some of the superhero crew. Apparently I was too busy to take pictures so there's slim pickins.
After the party Grandma JoEllen and Grandpa Keith came. So did Tim, Marie and Hunter but somehow they didn't make the cut. A few days after his party we set up this sweet shark tent he got as a gift and the kids played and played with it. Then it got really quiet and we realized Chase had gone to sleep in it! What a weirdo.

Doylestown Rules

My little sister Jackie and her husband Doug visited from Virginia, so we decided to make a day out of our old stomping grounds.
We went past our old house, highschool, Kids Castle and made it to a football game! It was good times.

Kids Castle. This is an awesome playground that we from this area need to make a daytrip to. It's only an hour away and it's awesome. This is only about half of it. There's another huge area.

We each model our own interpretation of the strange Jester painting.

Tyler and Doug enjoy the zip-line.

Chase chooses a tuxedo at Ventresca's.

Cyd and Chase.

Too manly to swing I guess? (actually the sad truth the swinging was making Phil nauseated. What an old man.)

The Dunlop girls however can still swing with the best of them. Some sicko took pics of our rears doing this and they've been destroyed. You are evil whoever you are. Jenny, Cyd then Jack.

The 3 cute kiddos. They had the time of their lives.

Phil and Tyler are always jumping. What's with that?

The Alumni. Phil was not comfortable w/ this, but you try arguing w/ 3 determined girls.

Phil's brother Tim is an Asst. Coach for CB East so we met up w/ his wife and daughter. Here's Hunter cheering on the Patriots!

I am hoping only Lexi becomes the cheerleader.

Chase in full Patriots colors.

After the game the kids were able to play on the field under the lights. It was really fun.

Who knew I'd enjoy football this much?!?!?

A day in the life of Chase

This is where you will find him most of the day...He sure loves his "choo choo chains."
