Chase is like a cat

I swear he has 9 lives. Tonight he was goofing around on the old t.v. from our bedroom that is STILL sitting on the floor waiting to be taken downstairs. He fell off it and it fell on his head. The tv fell on his head people. And he is totally fine. His face is red and will probably bruise-but he's fine!! I asked him if it hurt and he said it did. And I asked him why he didn't cry and he said, "I did mom, it was just a really quiet kind." This is the makings of an NFL football player or something. And someone up above is watching out for him! Heaven help us!

On a less emotional note

We have a fisher price little people nativity set that I leave on the floor for the kids to play with. They are surprisingly very gentle w/ most of the characters, so it's great. So Tyler wanted to do a "show" where he did the story of the nativity for us. Meanwhile Chase had the train that goes around our tree off the track pulling it around the room. So during the story that Tyler knows so well and I feel so proud of him, Chase pulls up to the stable. This ticks off Ty and he tells him to back away, and Chase says w/out skipping a beat, "Hey-the train heard about Jesus' birth and just wanted to stop by!" I'm still giggling. I took a picture that I'll lazily post later.

Happy Birthday Dad!

It's been another tough year for dad w/ surgeries, tests, worrying, recovering, then repeat. So I'm so happy to be able to say Happy Birthday! I love you Dad!
