She did it!

My little sister Jackie gave birth to her first child yesterday and boy did she work hard for her! Little Addy was facing up and b/c of the shape of jack's pelvis wasn't going to make it out the old-fashioned way. So after pushing for 3 hours they finally did the emergency c-section. Poor little Addy's head is bruised and scratched from all the pushing-ouch! But she's darling and weighed in at 8lbs 1oz and 21 inches long. She's #16 for the Dunlop family and we're excited to have another chubby-cheeked gal around!

A resonable question

Chase (very annoyed) asked why do some people have big backyards if they don't have kids. Apparently he finds that to be a waste of some good real estate.

The final day!

Today was my dad's last radiation treatment (he had 35!!!). I'm very hopeful that it destroyed all of the Cancer. He will find out for sure in another 30 days. So please say a prayer for him! This is a cute picture of him holding some pictures we sent him. My little sister had the idea that we'd each hold a sign and put together it reads, "We're thinking of you dad." My family had the very important word OF. I think we worked it! I love you Dad!!

Eaten by a shark

The highlight of the boys' week was watching a movie while sitting in the belly of a shark. AND I allowed them to eat snacks on the carpet-how brave I am!

Tyler, Tyler, Tyler

He just asks the funniest questions. I had to take him to the doctor today b/c apparently there was an incident with him biting his own arm at school which had the teacher and nurse concerned. Honestly that's a whole other story. The kid just likes to make teeth mark train tracks on his arm. Isn't that totally normal? Isn't it? Please say it is!!!

So anywho-we're in the parking lot parking the car and he asks, "Why are there pictures of people sitting on toilets all over the ground?" I'm looking around everywhere thinking what is this kid talking about?!?!? And so I told him I had no idea where he was seeing this. So he says, "Yea-right there. See they're sitting on the toilet seat, see how it's rounded like that?" I started to laugh so hard. Those are handicap parking spaces darling. And those are wheelchairs. I just love how kids see the world WAY differently than us adults!!

Little Tyson Sherwood

Our good friends lost their 2nd child unexpectedly the other night and I still just can't believe it. He's now with his little brother and maybe even Jake and I know they're busy doing the Lord's work.
He will be sorely missed. What a doll!

Merry Christmas-just a few days late...

We had such a fun Christmas season. It was Eliza's first Christmas, the boys were totally into the spirit of Christmas and we saw lot of family and friends. Thanks to everyone who added to our fun Christmas! And of course we're thankful for our Savior Jesus Christ.
Oh, and please consider this our Christmas card. Yea-seriously. I just didn't get it together this year-too busy being a mom, wife, Santa and goody-baker I suppose!
