Keep the change...

I am not the type of person to pick a penny up off the ground, but a quarter-yes. And maybe even a dime. Is a dime really chump change? B/c at Dunkin Doughnuts it must be. I just went through the drive through and my total came to $1.90. I gave him $2.00 and he just sat and stared at me and said , "you're good." And so I just looked at him weird and he said, "oh, do you want the dime?" like it was just a penny. Am I so ridiculously cheap that I wanted my dime? He made me feel dumb for wanting it, but come on!!!

I LOVE LUCY

So this morning my sister Jenn went into labor 2 1/2 weeks early (don't you hate her?!??!) and after a pretty long labor and some hard contractions (the epidural didn't work) little Lucy is here! She's just itty bitty but super cute!
Here Lexi decided to draw on both herself and Chase's face. Apparently they were Indians. I'm not sure she got the memo that there would be lots of picture taking today. So I had to bathe her before making it to the hospital.

Here she is! She's about 2 hours old here. She's got what looks like strawberry blonde hair and very blonde eyelashes so I wonder if she'll be a red-head. It is on both our side and Travis' side so it may be!
5 lb 11 oz, 18 inches long. I think those are the right stats.

11 weeks apart and I think Eliza could eat her.
The 3 Meyerson gals
We realized Jenny delivered in the same room I delivered Eliza! Weird!
She was JUST smiling! I swear!
This is the face of an exhausted woman. Just look at Lucy please. She's really cute.

Eliza's Blessing

Our little stinker was blessed by her daddy on Sunday and he did a great job! And she was awake, alert and not screaming! What a good girl. My mom made her dress from my wedding dress-which was surprisingly not difficult to see being cut up b/c I knew Eliza would probably never wear my dress and it's alot easier to keep and store this little thing rather than a huge dress. She did a great job and Eliza looked just adorable! Oh, and the blanket was crocheted by my Grandma Adeline probably about 15 years ago for when I had a baby and I was so excited to use it for the first time. Thanks Grandma!
